Trishul and nandaghunti and chilling view of famous Roopkund trek. through many beautiful valleys, surrounded by oak trees a lot of snow and great scenes for photogenic people.

it will always amaze you with its beautiful forest and two great lakes namely- Bekaltal and the Brahmatal. snow covered peaks and the best sunset view from the top of the peaks. you will get to see the golden mountains when sun rays at the time of sunset fall upon the mountains.

Booking and payment policies

  1. you can either make the entire payment at once or pay an amount of Rs.2,000 per person in advance at the time of booking.
  2. The remaining payment to be made when you meet us at the pickup point or you can also pay at the base camp on the first day of the trek.
  3. You can make the payments for the booking via Google Pay, Phone Pay, cash, or bank transfer.
  4. The last date for the booking will be closed 5 days prior to trek departure.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy for Brahmatal trek
If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Itinerary

Almora and Kausani. You drive alongside local rivers and get views of many peaks like Kamet, Nanda Ghunti, Trishul, and Nanda Devi amongst others. Arrive at your base camp, Lohajung by the evening. It is a small town with very basic facilities available. Dinner and overnight stay at Lohajung. you can enjoy the warm welcome of the local people and can hear many local historical stories with talking to them

Today our trek begins from Lohajung market and we will move upwards to the Bekaltal passing through few villages, thick oak and rhododendron forests, water streams, bridges etc. After a short trek, spot Mundoli village on your left where you can fill your water bottles and take a little break. Today’s trek will take around 05 hours to reach our campsite. The whole area gets covered in snow in winters, and the lake will be found partially frozen. this area is completely covered in snow and you can enjoy the beautiful scenes.

Today our trek will start with Initial steep climb for an hour, which opens out to a meadow (today’s highest point 11,500 ft) from where begins a slow descent to Brahmatal. Make sure that you fill your water bottles before starting the trek since this will be a long day. Due to snow it might take longer to reach the destination. Our Brahmatal campsite will be just 300 meters away from the lake. your patience, endurance and stamina will be tested today because it will be challenging so keep yourself hydrated and cover so you dont catch cold

Today we will climb Brahmatal Peak and will return back to the campsite at Brahmatal. The time taken to reach the summit is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. As you reach the summit, an entire panorama of mountains opens up offering splendid views of the mighty Himalayas especially Chaukhambha, Mandir, Mana, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Maitoli and mountains stretching all the way to the Panchachuli range. on your way you will be covering the Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar enjoying the magnificent yet tricky trails enriched with a mountain with ridges on both it’s sides.

You completed the first important part of the trek which is to reach to the top safely and now second part is to go back to base camp with full concentration on the route and reach safely.Today we will descent back to Lohajung through the different forested trails passing by several mountain villages on the slopes which will take time around 6-7 hours. Descend will take less time and the day is not that exhaustive. We return back to Lohajung and have plenty of time and energy to share photographs among the group and celebrate our amazing trek. Overnight stay at Lohajung.
